John Watkins is the co-founder of 3PL Central and serves as its CEO. John is an expert in the 3PL and warehousing industries – with specialties in warehouse operations, freight brokerage, international cargo and supply chain logistics. Having spent the last 20 years in various hands-on roles in the 3PL industry, John brings a unique operator’s perspective to the software company. With the collaboration of countless 3PLs and warehouses, John has led the development and expansion of 3PL Central and its growing base of Cloud-based software products. Prior to entering the 3PL industry in the early 1990’s, John served as a Controller for Syncor International, a radio pharmaceutical drug distribution company (+$300mm sales). John earned his CPA and is former alumni of KPMG Peat Marwick. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in Spanish from the University of Utah. He earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Nancy Rohman is the co-founder of 3PL Central and serves as its President and Chief Financial Officer. Nancy oversees day-to-day operations at the Company, relying on her background in accounting, law and banking to deliver insights into business and process improvements. Prior to formally joining 3PL Central in 2006, Nancy worked as an investment banker for 14 years, beginning her career with Lehman Brothers in Los Angeles. She most recently worked with JPMorgan, where she was responsible for coverage of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska region. Prior to banking, Nancy began her career in Los Angeles with KPMG Peat Marwick. She then went on to study law and obtained her J.D before entering into the investment banking world. Nancy graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She has also graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. Nancy earned her CPA and is a member of the California Bar.
Greg Wilson serves as 3PL Central’s Chief Financial Officer. Greg brings nearly 15 years of financial experience to the company, spanning transactions, growth investment, operations and reporting. Prior to this role, Greg served as Vice President of Finance at Activision, and previously as product manager driving Activision’s Skylanders business. With Skylanders, Greg delivered the #1 kid’s video game franchise and #1 action figure property globally for four consecutive years. Before that, Greg held financial roles at Electronic Arts and IBM. He also worked in management consulting with Oliver Wyman, and in investment banking with Robertson Stephens. Greg earned his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
Jennifer Benson serves as 3PL Central’s Vice President of Customer Success. With more than 20 years of client services experience, Jennifer is passionate about building and inspiring customer-first teams and culture. Prior to joining 3PL Central, Jennifer held leadership roles in both emerging technology start-ups and Fortune 500 supply chain and distribution companies. At Rapid7 she consistently delivered a >90% renewal rate and a >98% customer satisfaction rate for 5 years. She helped grow the company from $5M to $50M in revenues, setting company up for a successful IPO in 2015 (NASDAQ: RPD). Prior to Rapid7, Jennifer was Director of Customer Relations for Iron Mountain where she led the client services and operations teams through 4 acquisitions, delivered a 98% renewal rate and a 10 point improvement in EBITA. Jennifer leads the technical support, new customer on-boarding, account management, and professional services teams at 3PL Central. She is an active contributor and speaker in customer success thought leadership channels, and is also the founder of LoyaltyLabs, a customer success consulting organization.
Rick Thompson serves as the VP of Sales for 3PL Central. Rick is responsible for delivering sales strategies and tactics to drive rapid growth for 3PL Central. He brings over 15 years of experience in sales operations roles with high-growth SaaS technology and digital media companies. Rick originally discovered his passion for building top-flight teams during his tenure with Jobing.com, an HR technology startup. As a VP/GM with Jobing.com, he expanded the company’s footprint by opening several new offices and built some of the top producing teams in the company. He went on to lead West Coast operations for a full-service ad agency, focused on enterprise recruitment solutions for Fortune 1000 clients. Most recently, he created inbound and outbound sales development teams for Velocify, a top B2B sales acceleration software company.
