Sales Development Representative (SDR) (CA)

3PL Central has a great opportunity for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our small but growing software sales team. We recently received a $17.5M growth equity investment that is fueling a lot of exciting growth and changes in the company. As a result, there has absolutely never been a better time to join us.

Working from our office in El Segundo, you will uncover qualified sales opportunities and schedule web demos for the Account Executives. You will do this by calling on Marketing generated leads, responding to inbound interests, and working targeted outbound lists of prospects to build rapport and establish relationships that last years to come.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating customer-centric first impression with potential prospects and existing customers while qualifying opportunities for Account Executives
  • Responding to all inbound leads in a timely manner by phone and email
  • Accurately capturing required lead qualification data and into Salesforce.com
  • Continually maintaining clean and accurate data in Salesforce.com
  • Working closely with the Account Executives to identify qualified opportunities
  • Uncover potential upgrades and cross-sell opportunities with current clients
  • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities passed to Account Executives to increase your earning potential
  • Be an active contributor in a great team environment with a fun and energetic atmosphere
  • Offer recommendations for improvements that help improve process and user experience

Qualifications:

  • Passion for your career in sales or marketing (and a student of your craft)
  • Self-starter with lots of initiative
  • 1-2 years sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external clients
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Self-starter with lots of initiative
  • High energy team player

Would love you to have:

  • 1-2 years selling a SaaS product
  • 1+ years experience using salesforce.com
  • Experience using sales acceleration tools in Salesforce
  • Experience and understanding of third party logistics a HUGE plus
