The Role:

Our customer success team is growing, and we are looking for a leader that wants to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing industry. The Sales Director, Customer Success will play a key role in helping us achieve our ambitious revenue retention and expansion objectives in 2019 and beyond. We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic approach to coaching and a passion for leading and guiding a team of CSM “farmers” focused on product adoption, customer health, revenue retention, and upsells.

What you will do:

To start, you will work from our beautiful, newly designed office located at The Point in El Segundo, less than a mile from the beach. You’ll have the opportunity to join a group of collaborative, driven, fun seeking customer success professionals that play an integral role in helping us build our business.

You’ll ensure our customers realize real business value from our platform offerings and professional services. You’ll accomplish this by ensuring our Customer Success Managers deliver on all of their goals including improved customer health, weekly outbound customer engagements, opportunity generation and conversions. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with marketing and product teams to continually find new ways to engage and educate our customers on how to incorporate industry best practices to better leverage our technology. In addition to a competitive base salary, you’ll have the opportunity to earn a bonus with significant opportunity for over achievement.

You are/have:

  • Passionate about creating customer-obsessed cultures and owning a revenue number
  • Sales Minded – proven track record of successfully leading a team of CSM’s to retain and grow a fast-growing customer base
  • Process Minded – you are extremely efficient, process-oriented, and adept at managing an opportunity pipeline
  • Coach – you are skilled at coaching CSM’s to grow customer relationships that improve customer health during onboarding, product adoption, retention, and growth phases of the subscription life cycle
  • Creative – you can build and execute strategies, tactics and processes that drive customer value and expansion opportunities
  • Resourceful – you lead a team to overcome challenges to achieve success with infectious optimism
  • Team Player – you are able to lead collaboratively with cross-functional teams across multiple departments
  • Data Driven – you create accurate, reliable revenue forecasts and ensure every CSM has the skills and competencies to accurately assess renewal risk and upsell opportunities by using various digital assessment tools, reports and customer input
  • 5+ years successfully leading a revenue team tasked with retaining and growing B2B SaaS software

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience leading a team of relationship builders in logistics software
  • Experience with customer success tools (Gainsight, ChurnZero, Totango)
  • Experience and understanding of third-party logistics (3PL) a HUGE plus
